On Wednesday 16th pf October 2019, for the first time, the Forum for Development and Multiethnic Collaboration-FDMC together with UNHCR organized a joint exhibition and sale of handicrafts. The exhibition, entitled ” Bazar of hope with art handcraft” aimed at better integration of IDPs housed in collective centers. Numerous visitors, including representatives of International Organizations and Embassies in Kosovo ad other local and central level partners, were delighted with the works from Strpce, Gracanica and Lesak. The director of the Forum for Development and Multiethnic Collaboration-FDMC, Dejan Radivojevic, thanked primarily the ladies from the collective centers for the dedication and hard work they put in to produce the various handicrafts. UNHCR Head of Mission in Kosovo Erol Arduc emphasized the importance of preserving the culture and traditions that women from collective centers in an unusual way flowed through the handicrafts they produced. IDPs have been able to sell the handicrafts they have been preparing for this exhibition for the past months. Representatives from the FDMC and UNHCR noted that they will continue to work on the integration of internally displaced persons. ” Bazar of hope with art handcraft ” was held at the Civic Energy Center-CEC in Gracanica.
