Background
This UNHCR funded project aims to support relevant institution at the central and local level to
ensure conducive and sustainable environment for durable solution covering option of returning
to place of origin, integrating in the place of displacement, and resettling in a place other that the
place of displacement in Kosovo subject to informed, individual and voluntary decisions of the
displaced persons.
Forum for Development and Multi-ethnic Collaboration (FDMC) will strengthen and build further
partnerships with all relevant actors at the local and central level while stimulating different
approaches to durable solutions based on the inclusive and comprehensive analyses of the
current situation related to displaced persons in Kosovo.

Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Project Director, the Project Field Officer will be in charge of the
following duties and responsibilities within project target areas:
 Support and maintain proper coordination in project target areas with specific focus on
the North Kosovo municipalities in terms of implementation and monitoring of the
ongoing activities within targeted Collective Centers.
 Maintain communication with the local municipal representatives and other relevant local
partners on daily basis and within area of responsibility.
 Ensuring effective implementation of the project activities in the project target areas with
specific focus on the North Kosovo municipalities and compliance with FDMC rules and
procedures as well as with donor requirements.
 Supports briefings to the local municipal officials including Commissariat in identifying
eventual obstacles and solutions for the project beneficiaries.
 Liaises with relevant central level stakeholders such as MCR, OPM/OCA and partners to
ensure adequate flow of information.
 Assist and communicate relevant information to IDPs in targeted areas.
 Coordinate and communicate relevant information to other UNHCR implementing
partners.
 Organize and facilitate different advocacy events within the project scope of work.
 Prepare regular project monitoring report inputs.
 Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience
Education
 University Degree in Business or Public Administration, Social Sciences and Philology
would be desirable.
Work Experience
 4 to 7 years progressive experience in project implementation.
 Experience in project monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
 Proven track record in working in a multi-cultural environment.
 Proven track record in working in international and/or local organizations.
 Strong communications skills.
Languages
 Fluency in oral and written Serbian and English is essential.
